Karnataka Postgraduate Entrance Test

The Post Graduate Entrance Test is conducted for the purpose of determining the eligibility for admission of students to PG Degree and Diploma courses in Medical subjects and PG Degree courses in Dental subjects in Government colleges and Government seats in Private Medical and Dental Colleges and Deemed University within the State of Karnataka, in respect of Government seats.
The seats available in the different colleges in the State of Karnataka have been divided into State Government seats and Management seats.
The Post Graduate Entrance Test is conducted in accordance with the “Ordinances governing conduct of Entrance Test for Admission to Post-Graduate Degree and Diploma (Medical and Dental) courses 2002” which have been framed under the RGUHS Act, 1994 and subsequent amendments and Government Orders.
