Central Hospital, South Eastern Railway, Garden Reach, Kolkata - 700043 invites applications from eligible candidates for DNB studies
In the following subjects:

Eligibility -
1. The candidate must have passed the CET-NBE in January 2004 or July 2004 session. OR should have passed primary preliminary examination before January 2004 and still continues to be eligible according to the existing criteria of 03 years (6 academic sessions).
2. Candidates who have postgraduate diploma in Gynae. & Obst. and Medicine are also eligible for the DNB seats in those disciplines.

Duration of Training -
1. Three years for all candidates, except those who have passed diplomas from whom it is two years.
2. The session will start from 15th August 2004.

Method of Selection -
Applicants shall be called for the "Aptitude test" (walk-in) as laid down by the NBE. It will be in the form of Viva - Voce examination. The candiates who are applying for 02 years DNB training course in Gynae. & Obst. and General Medicine are required to appear in a written test (walk-in) to be held on 19th July, 2004 at 11.00 a.m. in the office of Medical Director, Central Hospital, S.E. Railway.
Verification of original certificates of the candidates will be done at the time of Apitude Test/ Written test.

Accommodation -
Free furnished hostel type austerity accomodation will be provided on a single basis.

Remuneration -
The selected candidates will be paid stipend at par with the rates of PGT's of WBUHS.

Willing candiates should apply in plain paper along with one copy of recent photograph bio-data adn attested copies fo Madhyamik Examination, marksheets of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd MBBS, MBBS degree certificate, Internship completion certificate, Medical registration certificate, Attempt certificate, Certificate and Marksheets of passing diploma wherever applicable and certificate of passing primary DNB / CET- NBE, to the Medical Director, Central Hospital, South Eastern Railway, Garden Reach, Kolkata - 700043.

Last Date of Application - It must reach the office latest by 16.00 hours of 15/07/2004.
