  • Duration -
    MD/MS - 3 years (2 years for candidates with a PG Diploma in the relevant speciality from any recognized college)

  • Seats -
    Manipal and Mangalore around 400 (The number of seats are decided as per the MCI guidelines on PG medical education which is related to the number of PG teachers in each department and the number units, subject to any restrictions imposed by MCI. Accordingly the number of seats may vary from year to year)
     
  • Eligibility -
    General category - Indian nationals, pass in MBBS or equivalent recognized by MCI, completion of Internship before the commencement of classes, permanent registration. Admissions through merit in the entrance test.

    Foreign/NRI category - Foreign nationals can apply under the quota of seats reserved for them. Those applying under NRI category must be NRIs or supported by Parents/ Brother/ Sister/ Spouse/ Spouse's Parents or Spouse's Brother/ Sister having NRI status. Admissions through merit in the entrance test.
