ADMISSION NOTIFICATION  for admission into Post Graduate Medical Degree / Diploma Courses & MDS Courses for the year 2005-2006

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for admission into Medical and Dental Post Graduate Degree / Diploma Courses (MD/MS/PG Diploma/MDS) for the year 2005-06. The seats are available in the Medical Colleges of Andhra Pradesh and at Government Dental College, Hyderabad, which are affiliated to NTR University of Health Sciences.

How to get applications? : The application forms alongwith Prospectus governing the admissions can be obtained from 1-2-2005 to 19-2-2005 at 5.00 p.m. at the following centres by paying Rs.600/- (Rs. 450/- for SC / ST category candidates) in person
1. Principals of all Govt. Medical Colleges (except GMC, Ananthapur) : For PG Medical Entrance Test.
2. Principal, Govt. Dental College, Hyderabad : For MDS Entrance Test.
3. Officer In-charge, NTR UHS Camp Office, Koti, Hyderabad : For Both the Entrance Tests

The applications and prospectus can also be obtained by post from the office of the Registrar, NTR University of Health Sciences, VIJAYAWADA-520 008 by submitting a written requisition duly enclosing a crossed demand draft for Rs.650/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST category candidates) drawn not earlier than 24-01-2005 on any Nationalised Bank in favour of Registrar, NTR University of Health Sciences, payable at Vijayawada.

Requests for supply of application forms by post should be accompanied by a written requisition specifying the name of the course and social status. The candidates shall also clearly type or write on the back of demand draft the name of the candidate, course, and social status i.e., OC/BC/SC/ST. Those application forms obtained with cost of Rs.450 / Rs.500/- shall not be considered for other than SC/ST category candidates.

Eligibility: Only the candidates who have passed MBBS examination from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India and have completed their internship or completing on or before 30-04-2005 are eligible to appear for the Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test subject to the conditions specified in admission Regulations.

Only the candidates who have passed BDS examination from an institution recognised by the Dental Council of India and have completed their internship or completing on or before 30-4-2005 are eligible to appear for the MDS Entrance Test subject to the conditions specified in admission Regulations.

The filled in application forms with all necessary documents for PG Degree / Diploma courses should be sent to the Principal of any one of the following government medical colleges where the candidate wishes to appear for the entrance test, so as to reach the Principal of the college on or before 5-00 p.m. on 19-02-2005. (1. Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, 2. Gandhi Medical College, Secunderabad, 3. Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal, 4. Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam, 5. Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada, 6. Guntur Medical College, Guntur, 7. SV Medical College, Tirupathi, 8. Kurnool Medical College, Kurnool and 9. Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada )

The filled in application forms with all necessary documents in respect of MDS Entrance Test have to reach the Principal, Govt. Dental College & Hospital, Afzalgunj, Hyderabad-500 012 on or before 19-02-2005 by 5.00 P.M.

NOTE:
1. The filled in application form should not be sent to the office of NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada or Hyderabad, and the University will be at liberty to reject the application.

2. Applications received after the due date and time shall stand rejected automatically. Postal delay or loss in transit shall not be accepted.

Selection: The selection of the candidates into PG Degree / Diploma courses is based on their merit in Entrance Test. The Entrance Test will be held on 27-02-2005 at the above nine (9) Medical Colleges from 10-00 a.m. to 1-00 p.m.

The selection of the candidates into MDS courses is based on their merit in Entrance Test. The Entrance Test will be held on 27-2-2005 at Govt., Dental College and Hospital, Hyderabad from 11-00 a.m. to 12-30 p.m.
