    MEDICAL POSTGRADUATE ADMISSIONS – 2004

    Application forms and Prospectus for the Medical Postgraduate Courses (including Higher Specialities) in this Institution beginning in 2004 may be obtained from October 27th 2003 onwards from the office of the Registrar on payment of Rs.300/- (Indian Rupees three hundred only) for candidates from India and SAARC countries. Candidates applying from abroad (other than SAARC countries) should send a demand draft for Fifty US Dollars or its equivalent.  The money may be remitted using any of the following methods

    §         As a chalan at no extra cost at any branch of the ICICI Bank in India. Please mention FC-CMC-V on the chalan.

    §         CMC Vellore Association chalans of the State Bank of India, Bagayam branch.

    §         Receipts of C.M.C. Vellore  Accounts Department paid to the credit of “Post graduate selection fund “

    §         Demand draft in favour of "CMC Vellore Association a/c" payable at State Bank of India (Branch code 2203) Bagayam Branch or Central Bank of India ( Branch code M-10) Vellore, or any scheduled bank payable at Vellore. 

    Send the DD, the Chalan or receipt to: The Office of the Registrar, CMC, Thorapadi PO, Vellore 632002 with a letter requesting for a Medical PG Prospectus for 2004. State your full postal address with Pin-code. Mention your telephone number and email address if available. No additional money, stamps or envelopes are required.

     

    CANDIDATES MAY APPLY FOR NOT MORE THAN 4 COURSES IN 2 SUBJECTS (MD/MS/DIPLOMA). CANDIDATES WITH MD / MS OR EQUIVALENT DEGREE MAY APPLY FOR ONLY ONE HIGHER SPECIALITY COURSE.  These can be applied for on one form.

    ALL POST-GRADUATE COURSES IN THIS INSTITUTION ARE IN-SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAMMES.

     

    FEES: Various admission fees amounting to around Rs.7000, plus a yearly fee of Rs.1500 pa would be payable on admission.

     

    There is NO NRI quota.  50% of seats are reserved for sponsored candidates.

     

    Admission is subject to approval from the University and other such bodies as are applicable.
