K. C. Mahindra Trust offers interest-free loan scholarships for postgraduate studies abroad every year.

The scholarship worth Rs.95,000 is tenable for two years and covers the costs of your accommodation and food. The loan can be paid back in 5-6 years time.

Subjects
For advanced studies in Engineering, Humanities, Medicine and Business Mgt. including study of Military, Naval and Aviation Sciences

Preference is given to students who are interested in pursuing advanced studies in subjects for which facilities in India are limited, and subjects that are important to India's development, such as Survey and Prospecting of Mineral Resources, Bio-gas Technology for Rural Areas, Oceanography, Off-shore Drilling, Harvesting of Ocean Wealth, Sea-bed Mining and Fisheries, Water Management and Agricultural Research and Engineering.

The Trust also encourages studies in Transportation, Economics, Electronics and other emerging areas related to Science and Technology including study of Military, Naval and Aviation Sciences.

Eligibility criteria
For the K. C. Mahindra Scholarship, the candidate is required to possess a first class degree or equivalent diploma of the same standard from a recognised university. The candidate must have secured admission or at least have applied for admission to a reputed university or institution abroad.
Government and quasi-government officers with creditable academic records, wishing to go abroad for specialised qualifications, are also eligible to apply for the scholarships.
