After primary and secondary schooling, all the post school
qualifications are linked by single system of qualification known as
AQF or Australian Qualification Framework (endorsed by the government
of Australia)

The system is flexible enough, so that if you take a diploma in VET
institution, then you do not have to repeat it in University to
proceed to a degree course (i.e. you credit is carried forward)
