The answer given for the foll ques is A

Isn’t the answer for the foll. D. as it is hypochromia with anisocytosis which may include both micro and well as macrocytes

Can anybody pls clarify the correct answer?

Question 11: A 37 year old multipara construction labourer has a blood picture showing hypochromic anisocytosis. This is most likely indicative of?
A) Iron deficiency

D) Combined iron and folic acid deficiency

Thanks

i would also go for D

Microcytic hypochromic = Iron deficiency
Cells with increased size = Folic acid / B12 deficiency

Anisocytosis = Combined Iron and Folic Acid Deficiency
