| akks Total Posts: 10 | Posted: Sun Jun 21, 2009 02:21 am the answer should be sensitivity..as criteria fo screening totally depends on validity..which have its two component sensitivity and specificity senstivity is based on the no. of ppl deseased and specificity based on healthy ppl.. so senstivity is better option..which gives the %age of the ppl hvin desease and have screening test positive.. formula is specificity = true positive cases divided by true positive+false negitive cases |
