Pre Medical Entrance Examination (PMEE) 2013
HIHT University invites applications from eligible candidates for admission into MBBS course offered by Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences for the Academic Year 2013 - 2014.
Total Seats: 100 out of which 30% seats are earmarked exclusively for the domiciled candidates of Uttarakhand. Total available seats may increase to 150 subject to approval by the MCI, in which case, 25 seats will be filled by the state government.
Eligibility:
Age - Only those candidates, whose date of birth falls on or before 31st December, 1996 (minimum 17 years of age as on 31/12/2013.
Minimum Qualification: The candidate must have passed the 10+2, i.e. C.B.S.E./I.S.C./Intermediate Board Examination or its equivalent, after a period of 12 years of study, the last two years of such study, comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English from a recognized Board and must have obtained a minimum of 60% (for SC/ST/OBC candidates 50%) marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together and at least 50% (for SC/ST/OBC candidates 40%) marks separately in each of the above subject. The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible to appear in the PMEE-2013 but such candidates should submit the marksheet of the qualifying examination on or before 10th June 2013.
