Kartagener syndrome is a rare,
autosomal recessive genetic
ciliary disorder comprising the
triad of situs inversus, chronic sinusitis, and bronchiectasis. The defective movement of cilia, leads to recurrent chest infections, ear, nose, throat symptoms, and infertility.
