ELIGIBILITY
2.1. A candidate who has passed final MBBS Examination from a recognized Medical College included in the schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and who has obtained permanentregistration either from the Medical Council of India or Maharashtra Medical Council or any otherState Medical Council after completing one-year compulsory rotating internship will be eligible toappear for MGM – PG – CET – 2009.

2.2. The permanent MCI / MMC / Other State Council registration is a condition precedent for appearing at MGM – PG – CET – 2009 and its proof including submission of application for registration should be enclosed.

2.3. A candidate who has completed one year compulsory Internship or is likely to complete the same on or before 31st March 2009 can appear for MGM – PG – CET – 2009

2.4. Candidates likely to complete their internship on or before 31/03/2009 should submit documentary proof from their Principals / Dean of the college regarding the likely date of completion of internship.

2.5 Candidates who are previously registered and pursuing / completed the PG Course are not eligible for appearing at MGM-PG-CET-2009. Candidate who has completed or pursuing PG Diploma is eligible to appear for MGM-PG-CET-2009 for PG Degree in the same subject only and likely to complete before the date of reporting.

Exam Pattern
4.1. MGM – PG – CET – 2009 will be conducted on Sunday 22nd February 2009 between 1:30 PM to5:00 PM.(tentative)
4.2. Examination will be conducted at three centers
Mumbai, Aurangabad, Noida (UP)
The detail addresses of examination centres with phone numbers will be available on website.The students are advised to visit our website – MGMUHS regularly for updated information pertaining to MGM-PG-CET-2009.

4.3. The examination will be conducted in English.

4.4. MGM – PG – CET – 2009 Examination paper will be of three hours duration containing 300multiple-choice questions (MCQ). Questions will be of single best response objective type withfour-answer options. Each correct response shall be awarded one mark. There shall be no negativemarking for wrong answer. Scratching, overwriting, tick marks and multiple answers will be considered as wrong answer and no marks will be awarded to them.
4.5. The Common Entrance Test shall be of the standard of MBBS Examination and shall cover all the subjects of MBBS Course. The tentative number of questions of each subject will be as givenbelow:
